Sonfjällscampen
Sonfjällscampen Camping is located near Hede, in the Sonfjällets Mountain National Park and the embankment. From there, there is walking trail up to the mountain peak. Scenic environment suitable for walking, with partially marked joints.
If you are Looking for peace and quiet with magical sunsets and nascent mornings, you have ended up right. Here you can land! Take a bath, fish from the piers or just stroll around the river Ljusnan where the beaver lives.
In the winter there are good opportunities for ice fishing, where you get by snowmobile or car to Rörsjön that has a plowed road. If you want to go by snowmobile, there are many nice routes in the area.
Toilet, shower, kitchen available in the service building and included in the price. There is also a sauna and a washing machine for rent.
During high season, the service building is open with kiosk, fishing license, boat rental and information 09:00 – 20:00 every day.

Cabins
If you want to stay in a cabin we have 10 nice cabins with 4 bunk beds. The cabins are equipped with TV, a small kitchenette with hob, water bottle, fridge with freezer, microwave, crockery, coffee maker. All cabins have a small terrace with a view of the lake and the Sonfjället mountain.
Bed Linen/towel can be rented for SEK 110 per set.
Your 4-legged friends are also welcome. Allergy cabins are available.
The cabins are to be cleaned on the day of departure.
Inspection takes place on departure. Cleaning can be purchased for SEK 300.
The Campsite has two service buildings available.
The Sonfjället National Park is close, and with its several fishing waters and Vemdalsfjällen, it makes the Sonfjällscampen a perfect starting point.
Fishing
The area offers a variety of fishing opportunities, with most of the water being family-friendly and easily accessible. There are many fine gems. One of them is the Tumsjön which is high with a magical calm where the wild animals thrive. Coarse Pike can be found in many exciting waters, even if it is grayling, whitefish, char and trout that dominate. Do not Forget the fine abboren found in the Daring and Rörsjön.
Sonfjällscampen is centrally located and close to many other fishing areas with a huge variety.

Sonfjällscampen is located in Hedeviken between Vemdalen and Hede, 10 minutes drive along the 84. This is glorious Härjedalen.

Prices Summer Camping
1 June – 15 October
Caravan/camper with electricity: 265 SEK/day, 1500 SEK/week
Caravan/camper without electricity: 230 SEK/day, 1250 SEK/week
Tent with electricity: 235 SEK/day, 1275 SEK/week (max 2 pers, then 25 SEK per person)
Tent without electricity: 200 SEK/day, 1100 SEK/week
(Max 2 pers, then 25 SEK per person)
Winter at the campsite
On October 1 we close down for the summer season, and so it will be for the winter season 20/21 – at least in part. Over Christmas/New Year, and from week 6, there is the possibility to book a cottage and a limited number of places for short-term accommodation for motorhomes/caravans. You must book at least three days in advance and for the cottages apply for at least three days.
You can always contact me for a request. If I am in place, we can in most cases find a solution.
Prices cabins
Max 2 persons, then 25 SEK per person.
Prices Summer: 500 SEK per day, 3 000 SEK/week
Prices Winter: 550 SEK per day, 3 350 SEK/week.
